Jackass: Best and Last — A Newcomer's Take on a Farewell Lap

Full disclosure: I'm a very casual Jackass viewer. Some clips over the years, maybe part of one of the older movies. My wife, on the other hand, grew up on it, so this was her pick, and I was happy to come along.

For a newcomer, it's an easy film to enjoy. The crew's commitment to pain and absurdity is almost admirable at this point, and our crowd was right there with them, with plenty of groans and big laughs throughout the room.

It plays as a fun send-off more than a deeply emotional one. If you're hoping for a reflective goodbye, that's not really its mode. If you're hoping for one more round of the stuff that made them famous, it delivers.

The real verdict belongs to the fans, though, and my wife loved it. She called it a great goodbye, and that's probably the review that matters most here.
